Couples Ceremonies

So you ask what is the process of creating a ceremony, firstly contact me for an initial chat and let’s see if we are good match !

If you are happy to proceed then the next stage is to meet, ideally this would be at the venue you intend to use for your celebration but if that is not possible we can meet virtually.

I like to kick off with a lighthearted quiz which gives me the chance to get a flavour for you as a couple, followed by an in-depth interview covering all things from how you met to how you want your ceremony to be and I can even help you selecting readings and music.

You are unique, so is your story and so will your ceremony be. I will spend quite a bit of time writing your draft ceremony script which will focus solely on you - making your day the best it could be. This will then be sent to you for review and when you are happy we will finally be ready for the big day!

On the day, I will liaise with event managers and other contributors such as photographers and caterers to ensure that your day runs smoothly. You will be able to relax and soak up your happy day because you can be confident that I’ve got it covered

Weddings

Weddings are available for both same, and opposite sex couples.  I am open to creating a ceremony around a traditional wedding ceremony and can include religious and non-religious content.  Your wedding can be as traditional or a modern as appeals to you - after all, it is your day and for once it’s all about YOU!

Vow renewal celebration

For couples who wish to renew their life promises to each other, this may be done on significant dates such as an anniversary, to celebrate a new start or to consolidate a lifetime together.

It’s never too late to remind someone that they are incredibly special to you. Let me help you express this!

Civil Ceremony

Civil ceremonies were originally created to give same sex couples rights equal to opposite sex couples who could marry. Currently, civil ceremonies are available for both same and opposite sex couples. Many couples now prefer this more equal partnership to the traditional idea of marriage. So let me create for you a beautiful modern celebration that wholly reflects who you are

Commitment Ceremony

For couples who wish to commit to each other but do not want or cannot marry. You can still show the world you mean everything to each other through this ceremony that cements the message that “we are special to each other”

Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.
